To our customers and friends,
At this time of the year the Heartland Emergency Apparatus Technicians Association Board is busy finalizing the class line up and schedule for the 2020 training conference, Board elections, and the Graham Frazier E.V.T. of the Year Award.
With the outbreak of the Covid-19 in the United States and recent State Government shut-downs, and social distancing mandates the H.E.A.T. Board is monitoring the situation and will act as needed for the upcoming conference. At this time we are still planning on holding all of these events.
Nominations for the positions of Vice-President (fills in for President in the President’s absence), and Board Director (responsible for guiding H.E.A.T. in the fulfillment of its mission) will open on April 6th. Please consider serving on the Board and offering you leadership and commitment to the organization.
Nominations are being received for the Graham Frazier E.V.T. of the Year award. Please make your nominations for this award today.
At this time the 2020 H.E.A.T. Training Conference is still being held. The conference is scheduled for August 24 - 28 at the Overland Park Fire Training Center. Cost is expected to remain at $299.00 per seat. Class schedule and registration should be out before the end of May.
In these changing times please follow CDC guidelines for cleanliness and social distancing. We look forward to seeing everyone in August.
