Welcome to the HEAT website.
As several of you have noticed the website has a "Members Login" link. This is one of the features currently under development. This area will be used to allow members to:
- read past board meeting minutes
- review the current by-laws
- post articles that would be of interest to the group.
- contact information for member groups
Other features that are currently planed include:
- A calendar of events (under testing)
- board election abilities
- member polling
- and a help request area - for those pulling your hair out problems
I am working on the member's module currently and hope to have it ready in early June. This module will help to track the current membership and make it possible to send out automated reminders when your membership is coming due. When the module is ready the current HEAT membership will receive an email with their username and password. I encourage everyone to login and change their password after receipt of that email.
What else? I am currently needing pictures of emergency equipment, either in use, sitting, or posed. Fire, Police, or ambulance will do the trick. Just send them to my email address (below).
Check back often as most of these features will come online without any fanfare.
