I hope this finds everyone well, just a quick update.  The HEAT Association just completed the spring 2010 EVT training with great success.  The classes held during this conference where some of the best yet, I hope all that had the good fortune to attend felt the same way.  As always, I truly look for your input and feedback please feel free to drop me a note or phone call anytime to discuss your experience and what you would like to see in the way of future classes.  As always we are here to help and we work hard to make sure you are successful in your EVT career.

During the Conference the HEAT Board held a general business meeting below please find the minutes for that meeting.

  3. Meeting started off with a general discussion of the success for the spring training and all where asked if there seemed to be any problems that needed attention. Everyone agreed that it was a success and no major problems took place.  A big round of thanks went to Josh Wood for all his hard work on the coordination and making all the arrangements, Great Job JOSH!

  7. General discussion took place about better explaining the objectives of the EVT Certifications.   John Alden explained that we could put the objectives to each EVT certification on our web page. John also mentioned maybe having a brief explanation regarding the EVT certifications and process needed to obtain those separate from the bi-annual HEAT training.
  8. General discussion took place about having half to one day mini trainings for the HEAT members that could possibly be free.  This is a work in progress but all agreed this is a good possibility.
  9. Discussion took place about future meeting and all agreed that we should hold a General meeting in June, location will be determined later but the general consensus was to possibly meet in Emporia Kansas.  Which is a half way point for most members on the Board final time and location will be posted on the website.
  10. With no further discussion the Meeting was adjourned at approximately 5:15pm.

Thanks to all that helped and made the Spring Training a major Success.
